Background

Cedric was born here in the Oran Valley, eighteen long years ago. His father, being both an Imperial Legion and Explorer's Guild veteran, was sitting at a comfortable amount of money, and Cedric did not grow up lacking much. His mother Yulie Sharp, died when he was very young, but he remembers her fondly. His father remarried three years after to Lynn Baker, from the rich and influential Baker family. By the time Cedric was twelve or so, his father took to becoming the town's post-master mostly out of boredom. Later, Lynn took over the Baker family Bakery after Cedric's uncle suddenly became a recluse and abandoned the family bakery.

Cedric has a mischievous and adventuresome spirit, and in his youth spent his time exploring the Amaranth vale. He's developed a deep affinity with flying pokemon, and in fact is the owner of the late Chris Widdershin's greatest invention - The Hoverboots. They don't really let him fly, but can stop him from dying due to a fall, should he slip off his flying pokemon at a great height.

For the last six months or so, Cedric has been regularly flying to other regions with mail and packages, and returning with supplies, acting as the town's only official Post Man.
