Backstory

"Hey, I'm Joe. Just an ordinary guy, ya know? I make my living defending you from monsters and being a masseur. Which means I'm good with my hands, ladies. You wanna know about Jo? I taught the little guy how to fight, I wasn't always using my hands to please if you know what I mean. So how about you tell me a bit about yourself before I go further into my life?" - Joe

Self proclaimed charmer, and suave cool guy. Unfortunately for him, he's not as charming as he thinks he is. He is rather ordinary as stated, besides being dumb as bricks. He grew up as a fighter, making money from competitions and training pokemon, such as Jo. Eventually he got tired of it and wanted to use his extensive knowledge of the body to make himself look good in a "sensitive" way. So he became the disciple of an old man, who called himself a "massage therapist". But again after a few years his passion waned and boredom grew on him. That's when he decided it was time for a new interest, combining his skills into an exciting and practical use. So he enlisted in the Guild as a Hunter. As a new recruit he was shipped off to Kartou Village, to defend the poor broken town.

Besides his job as a hunter he plans to offer his masseur services to the village, when he's got the free time. He will take any request for massages; man, woman or pokemon, though he'd prefer women. He will be doing this free of charge. Hopefully the villagers will look past his rough exterior & lack of wits, and take advantage of his talents.

Quick Description: Black hair. Blue eyes. Wears chain-mail under an open, white fur-lined, black jacket. Dark brown pants.
Dark brown boots, similarly lined with white fur as the jacket. And of course, a cocky smile.

Effect: Add your STR or DEX modifier to the damage you deal as a trainer.

Martial Endurance: Martial Artist Feature

Effect: Add half your STR and DEX modifiers and multiply the total by 5 HP. Add this to your HP total.

Type Training: Type Ace Feature

Trigger: Your chosen type pokemon gains experience points.
Effect: Each of your chosen typed pokemon gains +30% the amount of experience they would gain normally.

Type Soul: Type Ace Feature

Effect: You feel bound to that Elemental Type, but are not obligated to only use that type. You can sense
pokemon of that type nearby; 5-meters multiplied by your CON modifier. You can also sense that Type in
Movesets of pokemon; 5-meters multiplied by your CON modifier. You may not take Type Soul more then once,
even if you have taken Type Ace twice.

Elemental Sync: Type Ace Feature
Prerequisites: Type Ace, Type Soul
Static – Activate once outside of an encounter.
Target: A pokemon.
Effect: Lose half of your full HP. You cannot regain those HP for 2 days. Elemental Sync takes approximately
10 hours to complete. The targeted pokemon is now permanently the Type you feel bound to. If this pokemon
is two Types, one of its Types is permanently replaced. If this pokemon is a single type, it gains a second type.
The pokemon’s physical appearance is altered appropriately. You may not use Elemental Sync to change a
pokemon’s type so that is both Dark and Ghost. You can take Elemental Sync up to 3 times.

Massage Therapy: Massage Therapist Feature
Daily – Every 10 levels gained, you may perform this Feature another time per day.
Trigger: A Pokemon.
Effect: The target is temporarily at full happiness and appears more appealing. If they level up without a
negative incident within 10 minutes of Massage Therapy and have met all previous requirements for
evolution, evolution is guaranteed.

Pressure Points: Massage Therapist Feature
Daily – Every 10 levels gained, you may perform this Feature another time per day.
Target: Pokemon or Trainers.
Effect: Roll 1d20 and add your DEX modifier. If the total exceeds 15, the target is immobilized for 1d4 turns.
The target can move their head but their body is unable to move. They are not Paralyzed, their body is limp.
The target may roll a check per turn to break out of the effect of Pressure Points; the check is 16 or higher,
on 1d20 adding their STR, CON or DEX modifier.
