846KJ.png
A practitioner of the Philosophy of Bushido, the Samurai is a warrior beholden to a rigid code of ethics. He has great pride in his practice of the Samurai code, and it is his greatest strength, but also his greatest weakness. If he breaks this code, his pride will turn to shame and he shall become powerless.

Stat: +1 DEX

Bushido S Legal
Static
Effect: As long as your code of honor is maintained, you cannot be convinced to do anything that would go against your code of honor. You get a +5 bonus to any checks made to resist attempts to convince or force you to perform an act contrary to your code of honor. Others may perceive you as failing your code of honor, but as long as it was not your fault (For example, mind control), you cannot lose your features. If you do fail your code of honor, you will lose access to your static bonuses for the rest of the day. You cannot permanently lose your class because of too many violations to your code of honor.

Family Sword S Illegal
Static
Effect: You own a Katana blade made specifically for you. You may name this blade whatever you like. When making trainer attacks using this blade, you may add your Dex modifier to the final damage.

MECHANICS: As a samurai warrior, you are beholden to a strict code of ethics. Most of your features need no activation, or are activated as free actions, and thus this class mostly trades on its Static and at-will features. However, these features are tied to your Warrior Code. The Warrior Code dictates:
1.) You must not harm the innocent
2.) You must show no cowardice in the face of danger.
3.) You must show respect to those that deserve it. The elderly and those of higher rank than you are the usual recipients of such respect.
4.) You must not be dishonest.
5.) You must stay loyal to your allies and to your pokemon.
These are the basic tenants. If you violate any or all of these tenants, you will lose your static and FA Samurai class features until the next day as you are consumed by a crippling sense of shame. You will gain back your features at the beginning of the next day. You cannot permanently lose class features as a consequence of violating your code of honor.
